# Accessing Instructor Functions

This page walks you through the steps for accessing your instructor functions in EdEHR. You’ll find a quick guide on how to log in, navigate to your course, launch EdEHR as an instructor, and confirm that you have the right access. It’s designed to help you get set up and ready to manage your class activities with confidence.

### Log in to your Learning Management System

* Open your web browser and navigate to your institution's LMS
* Enter your username and password
* Click "Login" or "Sign In"
* The following assumes you login as a faculty member (i.e. not a student role)

### Navigate to your course

* From the LMS dashboard, locate the healthcare course where you want to use EdEHR
* Click on the course title to enter the course

### Access EdEHR as an instructor

* Navigate to the EdEHR activity in your course

* The system will recognize your instructor role
